The first generation of LX speakers represented a revitalising of the Mission name as a force in affordable speakers. As there was very little wrong with the design, Mission has elected to revise it to MKII status rather than go for a clean-sheet design. The LX-3 MKII is the largest standmount in the range and one of the larger speakers in the test.
