SHE'S MORE THAN JUST A WILDLIFE WARRIOR
Bindi's BRAVE HEALTH BATTLE

To her fans, Bindi Irwin has always been a strong, confident, and inspiring young woman. And the daughter of the late Steve Irwin has shown she's a warrior in every sense of the word by sharing her private, 10-year battle with endometriosis. An excruciating and debilitating condition, it affects one in nine women.

Bindi, 24, made the emotional announcement that she'd undergone surgery to help ease - and hopefully cure the illness that riddled her reproductive organs. The procedure took place in a New York City hospital, where she was operated on by Dr Tamer Seckin, a respected specialist in the treatment of endometriosis.

"I battled for a long time wondering if I should share this journey with you in such a public space," the conservationist began the post to her five million Instagram followers.
