Robert Irwin has felt the first sting of young love, after splitting from his girlfriend of two years, Rorie Buckey.
Just days after announcing the break-up – which insiders exclusively tell New Idea was “very sudden” – via Instagram, the 20-year-old was last week spotted looking glum as he accompanied his mum Terri on errands near Australia Zoo.
Heartbreakingly for Robert and Rorie, 19, it’s understood the relationship abruptly ended on or around Valentine’s Day. He was due to join her family in her Perth hometown, but suddenly cancelled his plans.
