A NEW DOCO LIFTS THE LID ON THE '80S IT CROWD
THE BRAT PACK FINALLY TELL ALL

Demi Moore is reuniting with her 'Brat Pack' cohorts for a new documentary, Brats, about their party days - and sources say the gang has a lot of explaining to do!

A long with Demi, Rob Lowe, Ally Sheedy, Andrew McCarthy, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estevez and Judd Nelson were the 'It' stars of the 1980s. The group later expanded to include Emilio's brother Charlie Sheen, Matthew Broderick, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Dillon and James Spader.

Together, they starred in box-office hit after hit.

But behind all those mostly happy endings was a circle of friends being led down a very dark path...

HOME VIDEOS KILLED THE MOVIE STAR

In 1988, a then 24-year-old Rob Lowe was rendered unemployable when a sex tape of him with two young women was leaked to a horrified world.

"Thousands of parents tore his poster from their teenage daughters' walls that year," tells our insider. "It was the wake-up call Rob needed though."

On a downhill spiral with drugs and alcohol, the scandal saw Rob hit rock bottom. He was lucky enough to get help, and has been completely sober since 1990. His career also recovered, with Rob going on to star in huge shows, such as The West Wing and Brothers & Sisters.
