The Traveller's Timekeeper

The avid traveller with discerning horological tastes will already know that with a Lange 1 Time Zone, you have the world on your wrist - for it tells the time at home and in another time zone at one glance. This year, A. Lange & Söhne presents its latest edition of the intuitive watch with a platinum case and rhodium-coloured dial made of solid silver. Previously available in a pink gold case with an argenté-coloured dial and a white gold case with a black dial, this new monochrome colour combination ups the style quotient, while adding contemporary elegance to the technical finesse synonymous with the German manufacture.

The simultaneous display of two-zone times is one of the most useful additional functions in precision watchmaking. In 2005, A. Lange & Söhne endowed this complication with the now distinctive face of the Lange 1 Time Zone. In addition to the home time, the unique timepiece displayed time in a second zone that its wearer could select effortlessly via the cities displayed on an outer ring representing 24 time zones. The second-generation model, presented in 2020, was equipped with the all-new manufacture calibre L141.1 featuring another useful and intuitive indication of daylight saving time.
