Nick Hew is a confident man with a passion for the fast-paced world of F&B. He founded Jodonia, a French-style café in Puchong with Addison Foo in October 2022. Hew serves as COO while Foo is the CEO.
Hew got his first taste in the industry when he worked as a waiter, and the experience left an indelible impression on him. Although he loved the industry, he would go on to work in jewellery and consultancy. The pull was too strong to ignore and he eventually returned to F&B. Joining forces with Foo, they pitched Jodonia to their Canada-based Kaimirra Tutan Academy Centre’s board of directors. They liked what they heard and the plan took off.
Inspired by romance and freedom, Jodonia aims to provide a welcoming and unique dining experience within its neutral and blue-hued walls. “From the moment customers enter, we want them to feel as though they have been transported into a modern French café,” Hew says.
