Credible challenge for Starmer's seat

July 4 election could see a sweep of independents ANDREW Feinstein served under Nelson Mandela as an African National Congress MP in the first democratic South African parliament.

He describes Mandela's leadership as "selfless, principled, accountable, transparent and honest" which, he says, shaped his own political outlook, as well as his involvement in the South African struggle against Apartheid.

Andrew Feinstein resigned from the ANC after seven years, on a matter of principle, due to a corrupt arms deal, which involved members of his party.

For the past 23 years, he has lived and worked in Camden in North London, writing about and exposing the impact of 'the remarkably corrupt global arms trade.' And nowhere, he says, is the link between corruption and cruelty more clear than in the 'ongoing genocide in Gaza.'
