What the hell are we doing?

MANKIND has been building cities for 5,000 years. By the 17th and 18th centuries, our architecture had become extremely impressive - even in the 20th century, some fine buildings were still being erected.

But compare the glass, steel and plastic monstrosities of today with the fine churches, public buildings and royal houses of yesteryear, and one has to wonder if something unbelievable has happened that we are unaware of.

If you look back at exam questions from 100 years ago and compare them with today, it is clear that the education system is there to dumb people down, suppress individuality and creativity, and produce regimented, obedient workers of all types.

Of course, it's not all bad, and some people go on to succeed in bringing life, love and wonder to the world, despite 15 or 20 years of institutional indoctrination designed by the Prussians long ago to mould young children into killing machines for the state, and adopted by Rockefeller when he took over American education in the 19th century.
