At an age when many think of gently walking into the sunset, 69-year-old Shakuntala Pandya is busy sprinting her way to victory. The former GSFC employee recently won a silver and a bronze medal for sprint running at the 36th Malaysian International Open Masters Athletics Championship.
Pandya, a mother of two, competed against 38 participants from around the globe, including athletes from Singapore, Sri Lanka, Dubai, and South Africa at the Malaysian Open.
