889 emergencies, 131 road accidents reported in A'bad

The Diwali festivities in Ahmedabad were marked by a mixed bag of emergency situations. While the overall number of emergencies reported to 108 Emergency services saw a slight dip, there was a worrying increase in road accidents and physical assault cases.

108 Emergency services handled 889 cases during the Diwali period until October 31. This represents a 5.43% decrease compared to the 940 cases reported during the same period last year.
