The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) sealed the unauthorised construction of Neha Flats, a residential scheme located on Sonal Cinema Road in the Sarkhej ward of the south-west zone. The construction was found to be proceeding without necessary approvals.Earlier in October 2020, the AMC had demolished the same structure, rendering it unusable. Despite this, construction activity was resumed, leading the AMC to intervene once again. Upon discovering the construction activity, authorities sealed the site and halted further development.To ensure compliance with regulations, the AMC conducted the operation under tight police security from the Vejalpur police station. The authorities removed 27 units of the residential scheme.
