<p>The book, titled 'Prison Reforms', has been compiled and published under the guidance of Justice Biren Vaishnav, executive chairman of GSLSA. It was released by Justice BR Gavai of the Supreme Court on October 19.</p><p>The SOP illustrates the problem of overcrowding in jails in Gujarat, a lack of awareness about quality legal aid to inmates, socio-economic issues faced by family members and concerns of women inmates. It provides the navigation for addressing the issues by GSLSA. The book also provides details of measures taken for improving mental health of inmates and securing their holistic well-being.</p>
