Emergencies during Diwali festivities in Ahmedabad jumped by over 23% this year compared to last year. This surge surpasses the state's average increase of 18.18% over the same period.
According to Gujarat EMRI-108 data, the number of emergencies during the three days of Diwali, Gujarati New Year, and Bhai Dooj leaped to 2,683 in 2024, up from 2,172 in 2023.
