Drivers, airport security clash again; 4 injured

A heated altercation between auto-taxi drivers and security staff outside the domestic terminal of Ahmedabad airport turned violent late on Monday night, resulting in injuries to three to four individuals. According to sources, the fight escalated to the extent that a taxi driver, identified as Navneet, suffered a severe head injury and was admitted to the Civil Hospital. Videos of the incident, which appeared to mimic a film-style brawl, have gone viral on social media.

Both parties have lodged complaints against each other at the airport police station. Meanwhile, the airport management has initiated an investigation into the matter.
