The temperature here is sizzling hot as America votes early next week to elect its next President. When your sizzler is being brought to you, there is an overwhelming aroma, sound and smoke. It's a sensory overload. There is so much smoke emanating from the sizzle that you cannot clearly see what food was actually brought to you.
Such is the state of American Elections. Lots of noise, lots of excitement, lots of theories, but no clear picture. Based on my temperature check, it is still anybody's game. Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have a real shot at Presidency.
Sixty-four countries held their general elections in 2024, making it the year of democracy. Indian elections and American elections have captured the highest global attention and mind space. November 5 is when Americans vote to elect their next President. While historically, America has not voted in favor of a woman to lead them, will Kamala Harris become the first woman President of America or not is yet to be seen. If it were exclusively up to our NRI and NRG folks, then it is highly likely that they would usher in the first female president of the United States of America.
