<p>This announcement was made during a hearing of a suo motu PIL by Chief Justice Sunita Agrawal and justice Pranav Trivedi, following the Supreme Court's directives to fill vacant police department posts to ensure proper law and order maintenance.</p><p>The government submitted that a meeting of high officials will be held after Diwali to address the matter of vacancies in the first phase of the police force. Following the HC's direction, the state government has initiated the process of filling these vacancies at the earliest. Currently, a recruitment ad for 11,377 police personnel has been released.</p>
