Five women have come forward to claim they were raped by the former Harrods owner, who died last year aged 94, with several others alleging sexual misconduct.
The tycoon was described as a "monster" during a press conference held by the legal team, which was featured in the BBC documentary AI Fayed: Predator at Harrods.
More than 100 women have now got in contact with lawyers representing some of AI Fayed's accusers since the programme aired on Thursday evening. The team is already representing 37 women.
Compensation
The press conference outlining multiple allegations made against AI Fayed heard yesterday that there was a "systematic failure of corporate responsibility"."
Barrister Dean Armstrong KC said: "That systematic failure is on the shoulders of Harrods." The legal team is also representing women who were employed by the Paris Ritz, which AI Fayed also once owned.
