VIOLENT criminals thanked the Prime Minister for their early release yesterday.
A convicted armed kidnapper gloated "big up Keir Starmer" as he walked early from his seven-year sentence and posed in front of a £150,000 Bentley.
A money launderer jailed for 10 years for a £3milllion scam gave a double thumbs-up as he left prison seven months early and was picked up in a £250,000 Lamborghini.
They were among more than 1,100 criminals being released after serving just 40% of their sentence in Labour's attempt to tackle overcrowding.
Former Conservative Home Office minister Kevin Foster was outraged at the decision. He said: "It must be sickening for the victims to see criminals released and not having to pay the price for what they have done.
"It seems that criminals being released early are the only people who have anything to celebrate from Keir Starmer's first 100 days in office."
The violent kidnapper Daniel Dowling-Brooks, 29, thanked Sir Keir as he was freed seven weeks early from HMP Swaleside on the Isle of Sheppey, in Kent.
Surrounded by a group of 10 friends outside the jail, father-of-two Dowling-Brooks said, "I love my life" as he posed next to a second vehicle, Mercedes G Wagon worth a about £100,000.
He said: "I'm a dad of two so I'm out now and I'm very happy. I'm going to be good. I kidnapped someone who owed my friend money.
Victory
"I tied him up and had him at gunpoint. I beat him up. It was bad but not as bad as they made out.
"I'm so sorry for it though.
