Around 20 experts will analyse information from the CTs and MRIs using AI and the patients' health records.
They hope to find patterns that could indicate the risk. The idea is that these could then be turned into a digital tool for radiologists scanning new patients.
Isolating a group with a high risk, they believe, will enable the development of more precise treatments.
