REIGNING champion jump jockey Harry Cobden is edging closer to a return after an extended spell on the sidelines.
The 25-year-old is into his ninth week of recuperation after he suffered a knee injury at Stratford on July 21.
Cobden, No.1 rider for 14-time leading trainer Paul Nicholls, originally estimated it would put him out for a month.
