Hero saved lives in Hamas attack unaware his son had been killed

A HERO ambulance volunteer who helped save dozens of wounded victims in the October 7 Hamas attack was unaware his son had been murdered in the assault.

Devastated Zvi Reder, 55, told how when a family friend called his beloved son Dor later that morning a terrorist answered his phone. Dor, 22, was murdered alongside his girlfriend Celeste, 18, at a centre where the couple were caring for disabled children.

Sales manager Zvi was volunteering for Magen David Adom, the Israeli emergency service, on the day of the attack.
