JOS LIKE THAT, BUTTLER'S BACK

That is according to Marcus Trescothick, the man keeping the white-ball seat warm until Brendon McCullum starts his allencompassing head coach role with England in the new year.

Buttler is itching to return, having been forced to sit out The Hundred plus the T20s and ODIS against Australia.

Phil Salt filled in as skipper in the drawn T20 series before Harry Brook took over in the ODIs, with England being edged out 3-2.

But Buttler has now recovered from a calf injury and will be keen to make a big statement when he resumes the captaincy in the West Indies at the end of the month.
