TFRE BELLBED Peet could be greatest coach ever at Warriors TFRED

MARTIN OFFIAH believes Grand Final glory for Wigan would make Matt Peet arguably the greatest coach in the club's illustrious history.

Legendary former winger Offiah scored an astonishing 501 career tries and was part of the Cherry and Whites side who dominated the game in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Current head coach Peet is presiding over a renaissance at Wigan, with all four pieces of silverware -the Super League trophy, World Club Challenge, Challenge Cup and League Leaders' Shield under lock and key.

As the defending champions prepare to host Leigh in CC Saturday's play-off semi-final, the man affectionately known 'Chariots' Offiah as said: "Wigan are on a mission, aren't they? "They've already achieved so much in the past year, as evidenced by the fact that they currently hold all four trophies available to them.
