THE boss of Harrods says Mohamed AI Fayed ruled the store "as his personal fiefdom" to cover up his sex crimes.

But Michael Ward, who worked under the twisted tycoon for four years, insisted he was "not aware of his criminality and abuse" at the time and described it as a "shameful period in the business's history".
