US Editor THE former boss of fashion giant Abercrombie &amp; Fitch and his British partner have been detained on sextrafficking charges.The FBI held ex-CEO Mike Jeffries and Matthew Smith at their home in West Palm Beach, Florida, yesterday.A third man, Jim Jacobson, was arrested in Wisconsin.They are accused of sexually exploiting and abusing young men at parties they hosted in the US, the UK and around the world. Prosecutors in New York's Eastern District c launched a probe after several men claimed they were abused by Jeffries, 80, and Smith, 60.The couple, who were t accused in a BBC documentary of sex trafficking between 2009 and 2015, have denied the allegations. Two accusers claimed they were recruited for modelling through Jacobson, but were sexually exploited.A dozen men have said they were coerced into attending sex parties.Brad Edwards, a lawyer who acted for Prince Andrew's sex accuser Virginia Giuffre, represents some alleged victims.He said: "This arrest is a huge step on the path to justice for the many young men exploited by Jeffries and Smith, who used Abercrombie to pull off one of the most organised sex-trafficking operations in US history." The Ohio-based firm declined to comment.
