BRACED FOR VENGEANCE

ISRAEL was yesterday finalising plans for a revenge attack on Iran after Tehran's 200-strong missile barrage.

Western sources say Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military and war cabinet have narrowed down targets and are awaiting the go-ahead.

It is not known if strikes will be against Iranian military or energy installations.

There were unconfirmed claims Israel had decided to exclude Iran's nuclear programme from its target list, which Iran has warned against.

It came as an Iranian militia drone or missile hit an IDF base. Hezbollah has claimed the attack and the number of wounded was last night believed to be 67. Several victims are thought to have died and the toll may rise.
