Covid cop broke to have lockdown sex with rookie PC

A MARRIED police chief who had sex with a rookie PC almost half his age during lockdown has resigned from the force.

Disgraced Chief Supt Daniel Greenwood, who headed West Yorkshire Police's Covid enforcement team, broke lockdown rules to have sex with Caitlin Howarth, then 20.

Caitlin met Greenwood, a governor at a school where her mother was secretary, in March 2020.

He helped her join the force and she became a probationary officer.

His misconduct came to light after Caitlin, now 24, started a sexual relationship with a drug dealer.

Greenwood, 41, admitted gross misconduct at a disciplinary hearing yesterday and left the force.

Caitlin, who has already resigned from West Yorkshire Police, was referred to as Miss A at the hearing.
