SCOUTING chiefs are urging adults to get a woggle on and volunteer as huge waiting lists for kids top 100,000 for the first time.
The Scout Association says the demand to join the 7,006 groups around the UK is vastly outstripping supply.
The number of kids waiting to join the Scouts has rocketed from 33,000in 2011.
More than 145,000 adults currently volunteer in the Scout programme -up from 103,000 in 2014.
But the Association has issued a plea for more people to help children enjoy the opportunities offered by the Scouts.
