Haaland is daddy of them all ...already!

ERLING HAALAND continued his excellent season by breaking his country's goal-scoring record at 24, then announcing he is going to be a father.

The Manchester City striker banged in the first and last goals as Norway swept aside Slovenia 3-0, ahead of a trip to Austria tomorrow.

In the process he tied and then passed the 90-year old mark of 33 Norway goals set by Jorgen Juve during 27 appearances between 1929 and 1934. He played 18 more games after that without scoring.

Haaland now has 34 goals for his country in 36 games and was delighted to have moved into top position.

"It is big and historic," said Haaland.

"I'm happy, it's a fantastic record to achieve. I have many years left. I'm enjoying myself. It was a well-executed match. I am proud. It is a record that has stood for a long time.
