Menopausal women on two kinds of pills more susceptible to illness

WOMEN taking certain forms of hormone replacement therapy could be at slightly higher risk of heart attacks, research suggests.

Researchers analysed data on 920,000 menopausal women and found those on HRT tablets containing both oestrogen and progestogen were more likely to get ischemic heart disease or a blood clot.
