A COUPLE who fell in love while queueing to pay their respects to the late Queen have tied the knot.Joyce Lambert, 89, and Norman Giller, 85, exchanged vows at an intimate wedding on October 18. They got engaged just six weeks earlier when Norman popped the question on a beach.The former Fleet Street journalist said: "We realised we loved each other when we queued for 14 hours to pay our respects to the Queen."We had our honeymoon in London and saw three shows. We've seen every show in town."We're like a couple of kids. Anyone who comes within range of us can feel our love. It's like we're spreading it around like pollen." Both widowers, from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, they met in 2019, introduced by their children, and quickly bonded over a shared love of musical theatre.Norman admitted finding love in his 80s with Joyce, a former Tory councillor, was not something he ever expected, but said "it's never too late".
