MISSING mum Victoria Taylor may have gone into a river just hours after she vanished, a police chief warned yesterday.
Chief Supt Fiona Willey said there is a significant possibility the 34-year-old entered the swollen Derwent. She added Victoria's family are suffering an unimaginable level of distress as the search continues.
The senior officer said North Yorkshire Police has new CCTV footage showing Victoria, known as Vixx, walking towards a children's play area in Malton, North Yorks.
The large fenced-off area is just a few feet away from the Derwent and at the start of a riverside walk.
