JACK Draper has become the first British man since Sir Andy Murray in 2012 to have a shot at winning the US Open, and his mum thinks he'll ace tonight's semi-final.
The 22-year-old plays his friend and former doubles partner Jannik Sinner for a place in the final.
Back home, Jack's mum Nicky will be glued to the TV (and swearing now and again) with her tennis-mad dad Chris and the family labradoodle, Ozzy.
Jack's opponent is the world Nol but Nicky is sure he has a good chance against the 23-year-old Italian.
She said: "He knows Jannik well. He played against him a couple of years ago, he was playing so well and was 4-0 down, and I was thinking 'when is he going to win a game?" "But he came back and won 7-6, 7-6, and they have become friends.
"They played doubles together, had dinner and Jannick showed him how to cook pasta." Jack is joined at the match in New York by brother Ben, his manager.
