OVARIAN CANCER UK VACCINE HOPE

SCIENTISTS in Britain are developing what would be the world's first vaccine for ovarian cancer, and are hopeful it could wipe out the disease.

A research team at Oxford University are working on a jab which could be given to women preventatively on the NHS.

The Ovarian Vax teaches the immune system to recognise and attack the earliest stages of ovarian cancer and could be targeted at those most at risk.
