Camilla calls for illiteracy to be made a 'relic of the past' as she backs kids' reading drive

THE Queen has celebrated 1,000 reading champions as part of a drive to fight illiteracy.

At an event at Clarence House yesterday, Camilla, 76, met six of the volunteer Literacy Champions, including Jayden Lowndes, 10, of Stoke, who runs a trolley library that parents can use.

Jayden said his love of reading was inspired by children's author David Walliams.
