Rape victims still face court trauma

RAPE victims are still suffering traumatic questioning from defence lawyers when they face court, a damning report reveals.

Research found that survivors continue to be grilled about what they were wearing or whether they were drunk when they were attacked.

Charity Victim Support says these are rape myths which continue to hang over the justice system.

It compiled devastating testimonies from women, with many left regretting reporting the offence to police.
