Time for a brek...

ZOE Ball announced yesterday she is quitting the Radio 2 breakfast show after six years of 4am starts.

The star, 53, told her six million listeners that the time has come to spend more time "being a mum" to daughter Nelly, 14.

It comes just over six months after Zoe's mother, Julia Peckham, died from cancer.

She said on her show yesterday: "It's time for me to step away from the very early mornings and focus on family. We got through the lockdown together, didn't we?

"We've shared a hell of a lot, the good times, the tough times, it's been a lot of laughter and I am going to miss you cats."
