Shack's 'seagull insurance' for stolen grub

A SANDWICH business menaced by diving seagulls snatching food from their customers' hands is looking to start charging insurance.

The owners of the Cheesy Toast Shack say they give free replacements for their £6.75 toasties to dozens of customers each day because of the birds.

The family-run business says as a result the seagulls are costing them hundreds of pounds a day and short of "shooting them" they have exhausted all attempts to keep them under control.
