A MARRIED couple who met 80 years ago at a cocktail bar have both toasted their 100th birthdays together.
Peter and Peggie Taylor tied the knot 78 years ago after the chance encounter on a night out in 1944.
And now the husband and wife have marked becoming centenarians after Peter turned 100 on April 11 and Peggie on August 26.
