MICHAEL Ball is barred from playing his songs on the radio.

The West End singer, 62, has taken over presenting Radio 2’s Sunday Love Songs after Steve Wright, 69, died in February.

Asked if he’d be playing any of his own romantic tracks, such as Love Changes Everything, he said: “I am forbidden. Can you imagine... and that was yours truly…’
