A MAN has been handed a jail term after passengers had to restrain him during a violent mid-air rammy.
Roman Pawlicki, 68, was flying from Poland to Edinburgh when the disturbance broke out on April 5.
It was claimed the pensioner also grabbed the arm of a flight attendant during the incident.
His drunken behaviour forced the plane to be diverted to Newcastle International Airport.
