Five rescued.. but Brits still missing

FIVE people were rescued yesterday more than 33 hours after a luxury tourist yacht sank when it was hit by a freak wave during a diving trip in the Red Sea.

Four bodies were also recovered, but it is not known if they included two Brits who are still unaccounted for.

As hopes faded for seven people still missing, survivors gave harrowing accounts of how people were trapped screaming in their cabins as the 144ft Sea Story capsized early on Monday.

One experienced diver reportedly said: "I heard screams coming from the cabins, but many could not get out because the doors were closed and the room was filled with water." Another of the survivors, a British tourist, said: "It was dark and the water suddenly surrounded us on all sides.
