JANEY Godley will say her last goodbye to "the city she loved" on Friday with a 100-strong female choir and best pal Shirley Doig taking part in her funeral cortege.
Janey will head on a "final tour" of Edinburgh after she died from ovarian cancer at the age of 63 on November 2.
The much-loved comedian's hearse will begin its journey at Lawnmarket at 2.30pm before the procession, organised by funeral directors Alexander Whitelaw & Co, continues along the Royal Mile towards St Giles Cathedral.
There it will pause for reflection and song from the Sound House Choir and Janey's family and friends before carrying on to Cockburn Street and Market Street and back to Glasgow.
The public are invited to join the celebration in the capital, where Janey spent every August during The Edinburgh Festival.
