NEIL Young will headline Glastonbury after staging a U-turn on a boycott, claiming the festival was "under corporate control" of the BBC.

Co-organiser Emily Eavis yesterday confirmed Young had changed his mind and would return to the Pyramid stage as a headline act, the first to be confirmed for this year's festival.

The Canadian-born rocker, 79, who headlined in 2009, said: "Due to an error in the information received, I had decided not to play the Glastonbury festival, which I always have loved.
