Married couple faced separation after Home Office papers refusal

A COUPLE with dwarfism faced being forced apart after a longrunning Home Office delay over a visa.

Scot Rebekka Hill and Algerian Alaeddine got hitched in May last year.

But their married life faced a rocky future after Alaeddine, 29, was hit with delays of almost 11 months after applying for a spousal visa extension to stay in Scotland.

Without it, he could not work and faced being sent back to Algeria. Now Alaeddine has finally been granted a temporary visa after our reporter stepped in.
