ISRAEL'S prime minister has warned the "next stage is coming" as his forces prepared to move into bomb-blitzed Gaza to hunt down Hamas.
Benjamin Netanyahu visited the border yesterday afternoon and asked his troops: "You ready for the next stage? The next stage is coming!"
Israeli defence sources said the military had a "noose" around the neck of Hamas and it would be pulled tight in the biggest military assault since the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
It came as Hamas officials accused Israel of killing 70 Palestinians trying to flee to safety.
