MOON MISSION

NASA launches its huge new rocket tomorrow – to move a step closer to putting humans back on the Moon.

The uncrewed mission is the first in the agency’s Artemis programme.

If all goes to plan, the spacecraft could carry astronauts in 2024.

Nasa expects the first Artemis crew to land on the Moon in 2025. The project is being used as a test to see if it is possible to send humans to Mars in the future.
