Jah Wobble - who played bass with the punk icon in Public Image Limited - saw a spirit he was convinced was his old buddy.

He was living in Edmonton Green, London, at the time and knew "something wasn't right about the place".

Jah, 65, born John Wardle, said Rotten moved in with him when he needed somewhere to stay.
