A SIREN-like “danger to life” alert will be sent to people’s mobile phones next month.
The emergency warning messages are part of a Government public alert system.
Cabinet minister Kit Malthouse said the system would allow the Government to “warn people much more comprehensively” about imminent dangers such as storms, floods, wildfires and terror attacks.
