SHOAIB BASHIR sent India's batters into a total spin to finally complete his transformation from internet sensation to full England Test star.
The 20-year-old was a leftfield pick for England's tour of India after Ben Stokes was bowled over by a video of Bashir delivering to former skipper Sir Alastair Cook for Somerset.
And it has proved another masterstroke by Stokes and Brendon McCullum, as the tall off-spinner looked every inch a Test star-in-waiting in Ranchi.
Before the second day of the Second Test, Bashir's last fourwicket haul had come against Northants Second XI.
